What is Unani Medicine
Unani medicine is a traditional system of medicine that originated in Greece and was later developed in the Middle East, India, and other parts of the Islamic world. It is based on the teachings of Hippocrates and Galen and is also known as “Greek medicine.”
The principles of Unani medicine include the belief in the balance of the four humors (blood, phlegm, yellow bile, and black bile) in the body, and the use of natural substances to restore balance and promote health. Unani practitioners use a variety of methods including herbal medicine, dietary therapy, and physical therapy to treat a wide range of illnesses and conditions.
